The postpartum journey is different for every woman, but as a new mother herself, Corissa knows how important it is to have the option for self care. These barre-style classes are designed for Mum, but with bub in mind. Our Mums will be sure to get some movement in, and definitely that welcomed barre-burn, but in a safe and supported environment. It can be challenging taking part in group/public classes with a young baby that may need to be fed, changed, or just cuddled and loved. These classes provide a space where Mum can have the space to move her body and build strength, but also breastfeed, take breaks, and make new friends! These classes are designed to be inclusive and flexible! Expect a full body workout, where you will have the option to wear baby in a carrier, use baby as a weight, or let baby enjoy some tummy time next to you while you get your sweat on! Set aside an hour for the class, however this will include time for a stretch and any baby-related interruptions.
What to bring: Bring some water and a carrier if you would like to wear bub for some exercises, but this is not mandatory! Also, bring a mat for yourself and something to lay on the floor that's soft for the baby. We have everything else that you need!
